2013-03-05BRIAN PERRY: All teleflex cables are stamped with a part number. You can find this number on the black plastic jacket only. The number should read either SSC124xx or SSC134xx, the "xx" represents the length of the cable. Make sure you get the right number because the mounting plate on these two cables are different.

2013-02-18matt taylor: in the ssc124 yes 20 feet is the longest. but the no feed back single rack is available up to 30 feet.

I used this on my 1995 Bayliner 1700 ls. I got the 15ft cable. The way the old cable was run made it impossible to remove without having to unmount the outboard motor and slide it over to the port side. I didn't have the lift to do this with so instead I removed the old cable by cutting it with a hack saw and then I made a new hole in the spash well to route the new cable such that it would not bind as I installed it.
