2013-02-23A shopper asked: what is the mounting hole size?

2013-02-26DR RONALD E DICK: I didn't actually measure the hole because I didn't feel like taking the thing apart. But, I used an 11 mm SS fastener (nut and bolt) on it. So far the clamp has worked fine in our SE Alaska on my ocean going sailboat.
2013-02-26JAMES SACCOCCIO: The bottom strap is odd long for adjustment and the top hole is just under 1/4" . It'll take a # 8-#12 screw.

Tie wraps and plastic clips and clamps work- but SS rubber lined clamps work better. High performance cars and boats use these clamps to anchor fuel lines, oil hoses, electric bundles etc. They give a professional look but more important they give professional results. Clamp it and forget it.
