the Whale Supersub features a low profile design for narrow bilges. Pump can be installed in a horizontal or vertical outlet position, and on horizontal or vertical surfaces. The removable strainer and twist lock assembly and disassembly, makes cleaning the pump simple and easy.
A 3/4 inch non return valve fitted in the line stops water from flowing back into the bilge. The Supersub has very low power consumption and available in 500 and 650 GPH (gallons per hour) versions.

2012-05-02JOHN MEIRHOFER: Yes it does. I unfortunately bought the 500 gph unit that does not.
2012-05-02SCOTT NORDBYE: Well it has an overide wire. I just hooked both hot and overide together to a pull switch. Pump works great in my flat bottom!
2012-05-02LARRY WHARTON: I purchased the 500 gph pump to replace an old 350 gph that no longer worked. It did not come with a float switch or built in sensor.
2012-05-29LAWRENCE SMITH: I have a 500. It needs a float switch. I don't know abouut the 650.
