The Festool MFT/3 Multi-Function Table is the new and improved version of the Festool MFT portable workbench. The MFT/3 has 85% more working area than the older MFT 800, and is 15% lighter than the MFT 1080.
New features include a more comfortable work surface height of 35-7/16'' (90 cm), the side rails now have a V groove to support a range of clamping options, the miter gauge is more accurate and stable, and the fence system is now more robust and more versatile.
Long-time Festool fans will be happy to know that all of the virtues of past MFT tables have been retained. The New MFT/3 still features perforated tops, side channels for attaching clamps, and folding legs to allow two working heights and easy transport.

Festool 495888 is the basic MFT/3 unit without the guide rail system.
Festool 495462 includes the table with a perforated top and foldaway legs, (2) guide rail supports, (1) angle unit, (1) fence rail, (1) adjustable stop, and (1) guide rail FS 1080.
Multiple MFT/3 tables can easily be connected together using the MFT table connector. Tables can also be joined in a "L" shape configuration.

The Multifunction tables really add a lot of capability to several of the Festool power tools. The saws and routers work much better with these tables and the guide system. It is super easy to us the clamps with the perforated top. I love it!
