I'm no hardware terminology expert, so forgive me if I misunderstand the question, but looking at the bolt, the threads run all the way from the base of the head to the tip, there is no un-threaded area as shown in the photo here.

Your description says that the parts come with a shoulder for domestic parts. Maybe a better question would be what is the length of the shoulder (no threads) under the head . I need the parts to have at least 1-3/4 " of shoulder under the head. Is there any way for you to actually measure the parts you have in stock?

I don't work for Jamestown, I'm just a customer who happened to buy this part and for some reason they are forwarding your questions to me. As I tried to say in my first reply, there is no shoulder, the threads run the full length of the bolt. There is absolutely no area of the bolt shaft that is without threads. I think maybe you should call Jamestown and ask someone there to poke through the bins for you to find the kind of bolt you need. You could also check with Albany County Fasteners, they have a fairly good selection and great prices.
