Shoulder Ring Bolts are drop forged, heat treated steel with welded rings and a hot galvanized finish.
Machine thread eye bolts are threaded National Coarse before galvanizing and assembled with hex nuts tapped oversize.
Loads are based on a safety factor of 5 to 1. When tested all eye bolts are pulled at a uniform rate of speed in a direct tension.

2011-10-20MICHAEL JONES: The ring part seems to fit these sizes but it does have the bolt attached so not sure if that's what you're after.
The quality is great, good finish and has nice "Made in Chicago" or something like that in the metal.
I painted mine dark bronze and works well.
2011-10-20PETER THIERIOT: Take a look at CHI-09541-9 in Jamestown's catalogue. I have several and they are welded by a pro....good smooth seam and sturdy. I use them on a dock for tying boats...they're perfect. Dock is on a lake in the High Sierra where winter temperatures and storm winds are severe....the galvanizing hasn't faltered a bit....after 20-years in service, they have faded a bit in color and not a bit in durability or finish. I recommend them highly.
2011-10-22TIMOTHY CLIFFORD: I believe Jamestown Distributors is the only one that carries them, but I'm not sure. What I do know is: Their product is excellent, but what are you tying down that needs 1/2 inch thick "tie down ring"?
I got smaller ones, i.e. 2 1/2 x 3/8, and they tie down a one pound (ball) cannon. Call them, they have excellent assistants standing by. (and if you call within the next 10 minutes you also get, at no extra charge, the "as seen on TV" Ronco bottle and jug cutter!) maybe not.
