Liquid formula provides a double coating of protection with no hard rubbing or buffing. This simple cleaner wax will make it easy to clean your boat's finish post-application. FleetWax Directions
Shake well before opening. Make sure application surface is lukewarm. Apply thin amount of Collinite 870 to a small area (no more than 2x2 ft) with an applicator pad. Rub surface well to loosen all embedded contaminants and reapply as necessary. Polish with microfiber or soft cotton towel. Do not let product dry. Follow up with a coat of appropriate wax for further protection.

2012-06-06ALBERT GRAVES: I buy it for company wide use that we use on pretty much everything. BUT! I did find this on there website. Looks to me its ok for light colors but not dark.

2012-06-06STEVEN BRENDLE: I do not know. Have only used it on my boats gelcoat. Works great on that. I would definitely try to find out before using on clearcoat paint.

2011-11-07DOMINICK KEEFE: I wouldn't use any marine wax on an automobile because gel coat is stronger and more durable than paint in a car, but you can use automotive wax on gel coat.
2011-11-08DEANA D. SORIANO: Yes you can use 870 on your p/u...just remember it is a cleaner wax. It removes light oxidation as well as leaving a great shine. Since you just got the truck painted, I wouldnt use the 870, try the 920 its all wax. Maybe after a couple years if your paint is fading, then use the 870. Hope this helps!
2011-11-08ARTHUR SARCIONE: Yes, Collinite Liquid Wax No. 870 can be used on auto finishes. It works extremely well. Actually, I use it on plexiglass, glass, as well.
I have a 10 year old Sea Ray that I thought looked good until a friend introduced me to Aqua Buff 2000 and Collinite 870. Allthough I could see myself in the gel coat before, when i was done, as my daughters would say, OMG! Other people in the boat yard were coming over to ask what I used on my boat. This was great. I gave all other products away and use Collinite and Aqua Buff.

I use this stuff on my charter boat and its great! In the summer I'm really busy consistently running two 4 hr charters a day. I don't have time to wash the boat in between, but with this wax all I need is a quick spray with the hose and fish blood and salt come of quick and easily. It really gives a great first impression of a clean, professional business for the afternoon clients. Its a little expensive but well worth it.. Easy hand application.
