2012-07-30WILLIAM STELLIN: I have never used RollOff on aluminum pontoons, but I have used it on anodized aluminum sailboat toe rails, and it has no effect on the metal or the anodizing. It is not an acid as far as I know, so I would probably use it on pontoons if I had them.

2012-07-30STEVE SWEENEY: I pulled this from another site. I used Roll-off and found it worked so-so on my boat fiberglass. maybe did not give it enough of a chance. This suggestion is to use it on a wet surface to "activate" the product. Since I bought a ton of it I now need to try it on my car wheels and mildew areas of my boat bilge. IT IS NON-CORROSIVE per my experience:
1. It's a clearcoat safe, 100% acid-free wheel cleaner. Spray on Amazing Roll-Off and watch as caked-on road grime and brake dust wash away!
2. It's a powerful tire cleaner. You'll be amazed as brown sludge slides off your tires.
3. It's a white-wall cleaner. Roll-Off brightens white-walls and raised white letters. Without bleach! Roll-Off will not discolor the carbon black in tires.
4. It's a vinyl top cleaner. Amazing Roll-Off easily removes layers of sun-baked grime that other cleaners can't touch.
5. It's a convertible top cleaner. Amazing Roll-Off safely cleans grease and dirt off canvas and vinyl convertible tops without harming water repellency.

2012-04-23KENNETH RASCHEN: I am sure it will. I have used it on convertible tops, sunbrella canvas, tires, agricultural equipment, etc. with great results. Dilute the product according to the label then spray it on and with a brush agitate the surface to be cleaned, then rinse. I am sure you will find many uses for this cleaner. It's great!

2011-08-04ROBERT KORTS: I use it around my boat to clean off spider poop. It is the only cleaner I have found that will remove the black spot and prevent a stain in the gel coat. I have also used it around the house and I have never found anything it couldn't clean.

2011-08-05PHILIP LIPTON: I would try Roll-Off. It is a good all-around product and it really stands out when used to clean vinyl or plastic items. It is not so harsh that it damages seat covers, awnings, coolers and fiberglass. Some of the degreasing type cleaners can leave the surface looking dull. Roll-Off has something in it that leaves the vinyl, plastic and fiberglass with a little shine.

2011-08-08BEN BARKER: Can't comment specifically on that application, but I can tell you I was very impressed with the stuff - I used it to remove diesel soot that had accumulated on my boat's transom. Nothing had worked previously, even with vigourous scrubbing. I put on Roll-Off, and it cleaned up immediately. It's good stuff - may well be worth taking the chance for your gutter project. I was desperate to locate a cleaner that would do an effective job on a simulated convertible top on two of my cars, which were stained and mildew covered. The Roll-off was extremely easy to use and returned the tops (which are 7 years old) to like new condition and appearance. I will never have to try another product of its type. I keep finding more uses for it outside of the Marine environment.

I have used roll-off many times. Worked very well as a Degreaser. I used roll-off on my bow and cockpit cover hoping to remove black spots mildew with no luck. I was unable to remove rust from under the hood of my truck, would not remove rust from patio chairs, would not remove rust from several spots on the concrete driveway. The product did a good job cleaning aluminum gutters.

We use this product when cleaning/Power washing home exteriors. It works particularly well on Gutters, vinyl siding and PVC fencing. The product is not cheap, and must often be used at higher concentrations than recommended, but it is effective and will not harm plants, flowers, etc.

I tried a whole array of products to clean scuff marks off the deck of my 23 year old sailboat with little success. Then someone recommended Roll Off to me. I am stunned at the result. I used a sponge/scrub pad on sprayed areas and immediately, years of ground-in dirt lifted and rinsed away. My boat looks like new! Excellent value for the result.

This is a good all around surface cleaner. It is a stand out cleaner for plastic or vinyl. It has worked for me better than several other cleaners. It is my secret weapon for cleaning latex paint brushes. Something in the product breaks down latex paint so it washes cleaner than just detergent. Roll-off leaves a protective film on vinyl and it keeps latex brushes soft. It does not affect the brushes the next time I use them. I have been ordering Roll-off for over three years. Some reviewers are disappointed that it does not remove rust or mildew stains. That shows you how hard those problems are to treat, nothing makes damaged material new again. Roll-off does an effective in removing surface dirt and stains.

It did not work at all on my canvas convertable top (2007 Mustang).The product adds and reviews made it sound like it would remove any and all stains.I don't know what the stains are they look like a mold you get on tile but after two trys there still there.
