The Preval Power Unit is the sprayer mechanism of the Preval Spray Gun, a versatile spray applicator for all types of liquids. The Preval Power Units require the refillable container jar to function. Together, the Preval Spray Gun assembly will hold whatever fluid you choose and spray up to 16 oz. of liquid, depending on viscosity. The power units are disposable. When depleted replace with a new power unit. Many of those who use the Preval sprayer have multiple jars to hold different types of fluid like paint, adhesive, primer etc.
The Preval Spray Gun can spray epoxy, gel coat, solvents to clean gunk and grime and more. The Preval sprayer system allows you to keep multiple containers sealed and ready for your next job. This eliminates waste and makes cleanup quick and easy.

2011-06-29MICHAEL REED: If you are expecting a really professional job then probably not, mostly due to the spray pattern which is circular. They move plenty of paint through the nozzle and last for a surprisingly long time.
2011-06-29JOSEPH HUGHES: There was a car site on cable which showed them using it to do a car hood and one power can did it all.
2011-06-29WILLIAM ASHTON: Anything is theoretically possible, but this is not intended for this use. I'm not an expert, but I don't think you would ever be able to keep a wet edge on an area that large.

2011-06-30ROGER SMITH: I think it could possibly be used but it wouldn't be the easiest thing to do because of the fan size that comes out of this unit. I probably wouldn't use it to paint a whole hood but maybe for touch up work. It can't hurt to try on a test piece and see what your results are.
