2012-04-26KEN GORDON: Several come in a package. If you sanded the table and vaccuumed it off well ,I'm sure one would be all you needed. Washable?, I don't know, but doubt it. They stay quite tacky even well used.
2012-04-26JOHN HOUGHTON: Yes, one would def. be enough and prob. for another project, since you are only dragging very lightly over the surface to pick up leftover fuzzies, lint, etc. before your clear coat. I have reused if not too dirty, but never washed. That would remove the needed oils. I just store mine in a zip lock bag. I am not an expert, but have done many wood projects with success. Good luck!

??never tried to wash one---don't think I would try because of the chemical that picks up the dust would be compromised.
Yes can reuse--just be sure and put in an air proof bag like a1gal. freezer bag for storage.

2011-09-22HERB DELOACH: Tack rag is cheese cloth material.Is not impregnated with wax type medium as most rags you get at hardware store.Will not leave waxy residue on work.

Good product---I use to clean epoxy surface before varnish.
Awlgrip tack rags are expensive but worth it. Cheap tack rags often leave a sticky film that can cause problems with the finish coat of paint or varnish. The whole point of tacking is to remove dirt and debris- not leave another problem.
