White with a black tracer on the outer protective core. Sold by the roll only, the shock cord is available in 50 foot rolls: 3/16", 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8" thickness. 2012-07-17Nathan Fournier: There isn't much load on the lazy jacks to begin with and due to wanting to keep your windage down I would use 1/4, unless your boat is 25 or bigger, thank you.

2012-03-24YASUSHI NAKAGAWA: Sorry for not being able to respond to the question, because I have never used the hog ring for the bungee cord in my applications.
I think that since the hog ring seems inexpensive, it is better to do trial if it is suitable or not.

2011-10-04MARY KAUFMANN: size of the bungee cord depends upon the size of the circle on the bottom of the hook that is used. i used it to replace old cord.
2011-11-03JANIE DILLON: It depends on the job you are doing and helps if you have a piece of old cord. I used1/4" I think to restring an anti gravity chair (LaFuma brand). It worked well.

It is probably close, but it will vary with the specific batch of cord.
The perfect solution for repair to a outdoor chaise lounge. The original shock cord gave out when bleached three times. So had a great chair with no way of holding anyone in it. I had been looking for shock cord kits for the chair but to no avail. Found Jamestown listed on line and ordered 50 ft of bulk 1/4 inch shock cord. The exact perfect solution. My chair is great and no one falls to the ground. In fact, better than new.
