Sikaflex 521 UV
All purpose UV resistant Sealant. For use on ceramics, metals, plastics , fiberglass, and many types of paint. Very similar to 295 UV but with less adhesive strength. Sika 521 UV is a multi-purpose, UV resistant, non-sag, elastic, one-part silane-terminated polymer sealant, which cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form a durable elastomer. Sikaflex 521 UV is solvent and isocyanate free.

    Comments about Sikaflex 521 UV:

    I was expecting (hoping) this product to harden up, but it actually is much like regular white silicone caulk. I have no long term experience, but I hope it sticks better than silicone. The manufacturer does not identify a generic clean up solvent, but I think that mineral spirits would work based on what other manufacturers recommend.

      I used this product because my rv repair shop had it in stock. I never tried it and it seemed a bit expensive. It is a great product worth the extra buck or two. I know it will cost me less in the long run after seeing the difference with it next to the cheap stuff I purchased at a home store!![...]
