I restore old electronics. For those with steel chassis and panels I was amazed how well its strips old paint--no paint remover needed if soaked in high concentration. The phosphate is a well known rust remover--many recommend using Coca Cola for that reason, but here you have it without the sugar mess. Can't beat REAL TSP.

i use this for cleaning in gen.dishwasher works great.carpets great look new again.and husbands work cloths. only 1 teaspoon in dishwasher is all i use.and a little less than 1/2 teaspoon mixed with carpet cleaner.

I grew tired of the government-mandated cleaning products with their phosphate content removed. None of them works at all.

Adding this Tri-sodium PHOSPHATE back into the detergents made them work the way they did before the government got into the "make America dirty" business.

My only complaint is that the detergenmt mixing lab is now in my kitchen instead of at the manuafacturer. But it does get the job done.

This product is as good as the old Spicn Span in the orange box was for cleaning the dirt and mildew off wooden decks, and is great on linoleum floors and bathroom floors and tubs. Put a little on your scrub brush and just watch the dirt come off with each pass you make with the brush.

Very glad to find an source of TRUE TSP. Most products that claim to be TSP are just an uneffective alternate. The product works great and is a true value.

Nothing makes detergents work as well as TSP. Adding 1/8 to 1/4 cup to a load of laundry will make a noticeable difference. A tablespoon will demonstrate that your dishwasher isn't the problem in getting your dishes clean!

After researching making my own laundry and dishwashing detergent, I found an article discussing TSP. I had no idea about the government mandates banning the use of phosphates in household detergents and cleaners. I bought 5 boxes[...] few weeks ago. Best deal anywhere by far. This product delivered when it came time to test it out in the dishwasher. I use a Finish Powerball tab with a tablespoon of TSP and everything is so clean. I now know what I've been missing all of these years, phosphates!! I have been using 2 tablespoons or 1/8 cup in my laundry but I'm not quite sure if it's getting it cleaner. I usually use borax and washing soda as laundry additives to my regular powder detergent. Maybe my clothes are already pretty clean so that's why I don't see a noticeable difference. (I've been using this alone with my laundry detergent as a comparison.) I highly recommend Savogran TSP purely based on its cleaning abilities in the dishwasher.

This is the "phosphate" that the US Gov't banned from consumer products decades ago as being bad for the environment. Trouble is, nothing works as well as this stuff.

Excels at cleaning bare wood after stripping and sanding, prior to applying paint or varnish. Add a small amount of chlorine bleach to remove heavy mildew.

Works great on bilges, engine rooms, etc. Mixed as a strong solution, it can remove latex paint and dull the gloss of oil-based paints prior to recoating.

Nothing works as well for a once or twice a year cleaning of teak decks.

Powdered TSP mixed with water works well on greasy garage floors, oil surfaces and ground in grime. You don't need a bunch of fancy bottled cleaners. TSP and a good scrub brush will do the trick.
