Pros

    Cons

    • Difficult to Use

    Best Uses

Comments about Jamestown Distributors Milled Glass Filler:

These fibers are difficult to work with. They form little balls making mixing tedious, and the resulting thickened resin is not easily worked for filleting. It has a tendency to roll up into clumps and affects adherence to substrate. Unlike other milled fibers I've used, the cured product seemed more flexible than more finely milled, powdery fibers (West 403)

Will not use the remainder of my container for fillets. May attempt to use for bedding stringers and bulkheads however.

Comments about Jamestown Distributors Milled Glass Filler:

I used the milled fibers with polyester resin to fill gaps when recoring my sailboat deck. Worked as expected and wasn't too messy.
