Blue Sea LED indicator lights can be installed on any Blue Sea Systems circuit breaker panel. Their simple push-in installation mounts in any thickness material. They can also be used as general indicator and alarm lights. LEDs draw very little power compared to regular incandescent bulbs and remain cool to the touch, making these indicator lights ideal for helm installations.
Available in 3 different volt ranges: 12 through 24 Volt DC (5 milliamps), 120 Volt AC (0.5 milliamps) and 230 Volt AC (0.25 milliamps).

2012-10-01A shopper asked: I am wanting to use this on a 120V 30amp outlet that feeds my shorepower to my boat to make sure the breaker has not tripped. Can this be used on a 30 amp outlet?

2012-10-05Jim Elliott: Yes, the led lights are 120 volt regardless of the amp breaker you might use. I will say the leds are small and not as intence a I thought they would be but worked very good. If you are wanting to drive by and see if the breaker is triped from a distance you might want to find a larger light. It will be hard to find a larger light and stay led. The large red colored light you see on a panal probably are not led. I know there are rotating lights you could mount on top of a panal box that would be very easy to see. good luck. Jim Elliott
2012-11-01DOUGLAS ROBERTS: In my opinion that shouldnt be a problem. The light would not be run in a series so current isnt dependant on the light therfore it doesn matter the breaker size. You are only showing that the power is on beyond the breaker with one led lead tapped into neutral feed and one to the hot side feed. (these led's work for both 12 volt and 120 volt)
2012-11-13ARTHUR LUSIGNAN: If you order the 120 vac lights they will work. Note these are very small lights with very small wires.
2012-11-18STEVEN KATZ: Amperage is not relevant. The bulbs must match the VOLTAGE of the circuit you want to indicate with the bulb. Match the VOLTAGE and they will work.

Basically I wont two LED lights that I'll drill and mount into a blank standard electrical face plate. I'll then attach this to a standard electrical wall box. 2012-07-16Tom McGuern: Yes, I have 24 volt dc and 110 ac, both systems use these lights.
2012-07-16PAUL GUARRACINO: Correct the 120V LED's will work or a better solution would be to use a single pole with a lighted handle. This can be purchased at any electrical supply in various colors.
2012-07-16DAVID GEIL: Funny you mention this... becuase I used my light exactly for the same purpose and it worked quite well. I wanted a small indicator light to let me know that my attic light was on.
These are so small, you can do it on one box and don't need the second box.
I used a standard decora switch and matching plate. I simply drilled a hole of the correct size to the right of the switch in the plate itself, attached and mounted the light. Worked great. You could easily fit in two, or one next to each switch.
2012-07-16DAVID GEIL: PaulG- A lighted switch will be glowing when the light is off not when it's on. They are like that by design so you can find the switch in the dark, therefore this won't work for his solution. However, you can probably special order lighted switches which glow when the light is on instead. In my application, this also would not work, as they are not available in decora (that I could find).
2012-07-16DOUGLAS ROBERTS: I used them on my boat to indicate that my bilge pump switch was on (of course I used the 12/24 dc volt version). I can see the red light in daylight so its relativley bright. The light itself is a little less than 1/8 inch in diamater, so its not big, but I think its bright.
They do make setups like you seek though- light on with indcator-- examples:

2012-04-23JEFF MCNABB: The mounting hole diameter is 11/64" but the actual LED is smaller. Approximately 1/8".

2012-04-28DOUGLAS ROBERTS: The diameter to drill for the hole is to use a 11/64th drill bit, or a little less then 3/16. So that lip on the light is slighlty more than 11/64ths. Replaced one I had on the dahs of my boat. It was an easy job- two wires, positive and negative. Hope that helps.

Bought two. One to replace a burned out light, one to add to another switch. Use these for the bilge pump switches to indcate they are in the on position. Was a perfect fit for the one I already had. Can see the light evn in brigh sunshine. Put it through the hole (11/64th), crimp a push on connector on each terminal and connect as needed to a switch and ground. A dab of silicone on the back side of the panel to hold it in place and weather proof and your done.

This is the small diameter bulb. I ordered some thinking they are the standard larger diameter. Make sure you know the diameter of your replacement before ordering yours. I wish they would put the physical size on the description.
