Norton's new innovative Multi-Air design draws dust into a collecting chamber allowing optimal air flow and powerful dust extraction. This medium density pad is recommended for all applications. Each pad is packed in an individual box and comes with a Festool adapter, 2 x 8 mm and 5/16 inch bolts and 3 fiber ring spacers.
The Medium density pad is recommended for all applications for both the Speed-Grip and SoftTouch Speed-Grip discs. The Soft density pad is only recommended for applications of extreme contours using Speed-Grip P320 and finer. The machine speed must be reduced to 7,000 rpm. (Do not use the Soft Density pad with SoftTouch discs).

This disc does not work effectively to remove dust from sanding. Orienting the paper properly on the disc is difficult and time consuming. The Clean Sanding Disc technology from 3M is vastly superior since there is no need to align the paper with the pad. In fact the multi-air sandpaper works really well with the clean sanding disc pad. The pad is the problem not the paper.
