2012-08-08ROBERT HORNER: I chose this chisel for its quality. The cuts are clean, less pressure is required to make the cut, and it holds its sharpness very well, even in hardwoods. Only minor issue was that the shank was too long for my mortiser, so I had a local machine shop cut it to length.
