Airweave was developed by Airtech in the early 1970s to replace fiberglass and Osenberg cloth as a breather and bleeder fabric. Airweave's unique properties allow it to withstand extreme temperatures. It is soft and conformable to avoid bridging, protects against bag failures in a sharp radius, and channels air under high pressures.
Airweave is a unique, high-melting point polyester that is easy to cut and slit to narrow widths. N4 series fabric is an ideal breather for low pressure cures and offers good conformity. It can also be used as a bleeder fabric at any pressure.
