Flexible cowl vents offer a stylish look at a fraction of the cost of stainless steel vents, and are much more forgiving when scrambling about deck. Vents are made of flexible PVC plastic.
Available in two versions: a removable style with a threaded ring nut allowing the vent to rotate or be removed and capped, or a permanent ring that requires screws.
Ring nuts and mating deck flanges are made of hard plastic.
Optional monel mosquito screen and a stainless steel cover plate to close off the cowl ventilator are also available for removable style cowl vents.

2012-01-06ROBERT LOUTON: I have two yogi cowls on my boat which have stood up quite well to gale force winds. The bell type dorade also by vetus is completely dry but limits air flow considerably.

I have a motor boat with a pilot house,and i need more air flow inside, though to the side windows.
The main reason are the engine´s exaust gases(not to much,but enough to bother me) that come from the rear door as the boat moves.
