Vetus Planus deck hatches are offered in two sizes. All models are made with anodized aluminum frames with 3 inch corner radius. Acrylic lid is smoke colored and 13/32 inch thick.
Hatch handles open from inside or out and can be locked from the inside. Handles can be shut watertight or partially open to allow airflow. Low profile prevents lines and running rigging from snagging on deck.

What are the dimensions of the hatch and the cutout?
This hatch was extremely easy to install and looks great. The handles are a great feature and the ability to open them from inside and outside the boat is a plus. I also like the fact that it stays open with no adjusting knobs or supports due to the built in hinge tension. This was not described on the website so I was glad when I received the hatch and it worked this way.
