The Vicron Cyrix is a microprocessor controlled heavy duty relay that automatically connects batteries to the charging circuit when it reaches a preset voltage (indicating battery is charging), and disconnects when voltage decreases below float level (indicating discharge).
Cyrix battery separators are an excellent replacement for diode isolators. Their main benefit is virtually no voltage loss so alternator or battery charger output voltage does not need to be increased.

2013-03-27RUDOLF WERENFELS: You can't tell until you measure the voltage rise on (or amp flow with a clamp meter into) the second battery. These little combiners work very well. I trust them since I checked their correct operation after installation, and will only check again if I have serious reason to doubt it.
