I am a leather and rawhide braider. These cams (micro is fine for all my work) are fantastic to hold the finished braid while you work the unfinished strands. Simply start the round braid, get about 2 inches done, pull the braid through from front to back and, as you get several more inches done, simply push the finished braid through the cams.
