Replacement iron cutter 12-508 for Stanley block plane 12-331. Hardened, tempered, high-carbon chrome steel cutters can be honed to a razor sharp edge, and ground to a flat surface for easy sharpening. 1 5/8'' width.
Irons are ground to 25 degree edge. Stanley recommends an additional honed angle of 30 degrees be applied with a fine sharpening stone and honing guide.
