The Bronze series systems are the most economical and compact forward looking sonar systems in the EchoPilot line. The compact LCD display is 110 mm square and is designed to fit neatly into any existing line up of instruments. The Bronze has simple 2 button control, one to select and scroll the menu and the other to change the items chosen. Range change is either automatic or with one touch of the right hand button. The slimline case is designed for flush mounting in the smartest instrument panel, pod, or bulkhead. The exposed front of the instrument is waterproof.

These innovative Sonar systems feature EchoPilot's patented Real Time forward looking sonar that does not gradually build up the picture like a phased array sonar, instead the FLS both scans the whole forward view and updates the screen several times a second. An obstruction ahead of the boat will show on the screen, if the boat turns to another heading with no target ahead then the FLS screen will immediately show clear water ahead.

This system is available with Professional or Standard transducers. Choosing the best suited transducer for your boat depends on the hull thickness and degree of dead rise your boat has. The larger professional transducer comes with a bronze 2 inch BSP thru hull fitting and with 3 inch of usable threads is excellent for most larger boats with thick hulls. The standard transducer fits through a glass fiber Polypropylene thru-hull with 1 inch of usable thread. Most flat bottomed GRP hulls can take the standard transducer. If you have a thick hull, or a significant degree of dead rise requiring wedges or chocks to keep the transducer vertical, then the professional transducer will better suit your application.
