Aquagard Alumi-Koat is a water-based antifouling paint thats easy to apply, and easy to clean up. This environmentally friendly paint is designed for use on aluminum, steel, and other non-ferrous metals. It was scientifically formulated for superior adhesion to aluminum. Works great on aluminum hulls and pontoons.
Alumi-Koat utilizes ablative technology to repel barnacles and other marine growth. Easy application allows for less prep work and quick clean up. Comes in recyclable plastic containers for increased shelf life. US EPA approved, commercial grade, multi-seasonal, and tin free.
Available colors: black, white, red or blue. Available sizes: quart, (1) gallon, or (2) gallon pail.

2012-08-03Nathan Fournier: No, this product requires 2 coats of either their "Aquagard 190 or 181 Primer", the 190 is water based, allowing 2-4 hours of dry time between coats and then 2 coats of the Alumi-Koat also allowing 2-4 hours between each coat of that as well. This is a great product and does an excellent job when done right. Also, make sure to wait at least 8 hours before launching, thank you.
