New England Ropes V-100 braided line is constructed from 100 percent Vectran 12-strand single braid core. It is then treated with a proprietary Marine-Tech coating for excellent abrasion and UV resistance. Use V-100 for high-performance racing applications, halyards, sheets, and running backstays.
Made with a tough durable polyester cover, V-100 is designed for all applications where high strength and low stretch is desired. Excellent resistance to fatigue caused by flexing. Works flawlessly around tight-radius sheaves even under extreme loads. Surpasses even T-900 for extremely strong, low stretch, durable line. NOT recommended for reefing or furling lines.
