New England Ropes' V12 is a 12-strand single braid rope constructed from 100-percent Vectran. V12 features the highest strength, as well as the lowest stretch and creep ratings of any other 12-strand rope. It is treated with a proprietary Marine-Tech coating for improved abrasion resistance.
V12 will not absorb large amounts of water and remains lightweight even when wet. It can be easily downsized and spliced. Ideal for use in high-load, low-stretch applications, backstays, checkstays, and halyards on racing boats and mega yachts. Available in a variety of sizes.
