Offshore Systems NMEA 2000 Sender Adapter

Offshore Systems 3125 Tank Adapter gives you the capability connecting tanks that have standard resistance senders to a NMEA 2000 system. Adapter can be configured for fuel, freshwater, wastewater, live wells, or oil tanks via small switches on the unit. The 3125 is NMEA certified and compatible with both European standard 0-180 Ohm and United States standard 240-30 Ohm tank level senders and is accurate to 1 percent.

This Adapter features a simple 3 wire installation, one pilot plug that is connected to the NMEA system T adapter and 2 wires to be connected directly to the 2 terminals on the senders. This aluminum adapter is water resistant, but should be secured in a dry location with cable ties to prevent free movement.

Comments about Offshore Systems NMEA 2000 Sender Adapter:

I replaced a maretron sonar tank sending unit (I have 5 and don't like them much for reliability) with this. It works fine and was easy to install with a new resistive sender (I like the reed type better than float). The only down sides are a bright continuously flashing light on the unit (it's hidden now) and that I can't configure this with Maretron instruments to set tank size. It works great for what it is supposed to but the next ones I get will be the Maretron NMEA 2000 converters that I should have bought originally instead of trying the sonar senders.
