Offshore Systems NMEA 2000 network gives you the advantage of allowing you to power all of their systems components on a small single power cable. The Power T-Cable is designed to be wired into any boat's 12 volt system. Once properly wired into the existing 12V system, the T adapter is then plugged into the backbone or trunk cable effectively providing power to the entire NMEA2000 network.
Ideally the Power T-Cable should be placed centrally in the trunk cable where it will provides the required power to each sides of the trunk in turn, doubling the system's power load capability. With the use of a Mini backbone/trunk cable, this highly efficient cable can support up to 16 amps and 50 devices over the network.
