I just used this product for a Wheel on My Driveway Gate. New wheel that could not have the nut and bolt tightened too far or the wheel would not spin. So needed something to hold the nut in a specific place on the bolt threads. Sadly it is raining and so I am not sure about the drying time. I was very pleased to be able to come in here and find the technical data sheet as it was not in the package, which at least gave me an idea about curing times. 24 hrs. So I have to either keep the gate open or closed for 24 hrs. in it's position. So we'll see how it cures. Hoping it works as well as the recommendations from the hardware stores and this site.

The blue loctite is really the best stuff to use in most situations. Most times the red loctite is overkill. Blue is strong enuff with causing a problem at disassembly.
