Moeller Mechanical Fuel Sender delivers precise and quick measurements of fuel tank levels directly at the tank. Designed to be mounted on the tank itself, these gauges provide virtually error-free operation. A simple swingarm design is calibrated to a direct sight gauge for immediate readings.
While accurate, displayed fuel level will fluctuate when underway or in rough conditions as the fuel moves around the tank. For the most accurate results, be sure to read the tank level when at the dock or stationary.

2013-01-24BILLY FRENZ: This product runed out to be just a site-glass....not the mechanical gauge that is shown with a short pick up arm....I clled and nobody would return my call ...so I am stuck with a site glass for $15.00. Never did get the mechanical sending unit that they advertised.
Had to go to another vendor.

2013-01-18A shopper asked: does tank depth equal the size of unit you will need? i.e. if tank is 11 inches deep, is the swing arm length supposed to be 11 inches too?

2013-01-29Kerry Souza: The arm should be 1 inch shorter than the depth of your tank, so if your tank is 11 inches the arm length you will need is 10 inches. They do this so that when your gauge reads empty you still have gas in the tank to hopefully get to a fill up station and so that your not dead in the water so to speak. Thank You.
