Comments about Penn Level Wind Conventional Reels:

I have three of these reelsI would use them on pretty much everything in americaThey last for years, I have had no problems with them, pretty much indestructableThey will cost between $50& $60 plus a rodIf a person is new to baitcasting,s/he could get frustated with them before s/he learns how to use them, still with some work you can get to where it is pretty much second nature** the only thing I don't like is that after Penn was bought out by a conglomerant-[*] I don't know a person [*]) would use this reel and good rod for fishing around the globe.Especially when beauty is dependability
