The Corvalus is the direct result of refining Shimano's classic Corsair and Catala baitcasters, providing the best of two reels in one. Each of the 3 were built on a solid one piece diecast aluminum frame, setting tempo for a rugged yet affordable reel.
The VBS (Variable Brake System) lets you fine tune your reel for exceptional spool control and casting distance. Shimano's dependable Super Stopper and Assist Stopper anti reverse ensure the Corvalus provides slop-free, heart-stopping hooksets.
