Problem was that Jamestown Distributors said it would be 5-6 weeks to mail. They get it from a distributor who buys in lots of $5,000 and it would take a while to get enough orders. I canceled my order and bought from another big on line retailer who's name is the same as the 2nd largest river in the world located in South America . Got the rod from that other retailer within 5 days.Rod is beautiful especially for the money. Roller tip and the first guide is also a roller. Great aluminum rod seat.JD's price was better than the other retailer's by about $20 but the bottom line is you have to be able to deliver. I would reccomend the rod, [...]
