The New England Cyclone Mooring Pendant consists of strong, durable Endura-12 rope made from Dyneema fibers. Pairing this to the end of your standard nylon mooring pendant adds the benefit of a floating, low stretch and abrasion resistant section where you need it most, at the chock.
The latest Dyneema fiber provides extremely high tensile strength and ultra low elongation. Design eliminates friction at the chock, reducing heat-generated failures. Must be coupled to a nylon mooring pendant for stretch in the standing part of the rope. The nylon provides shock absorption to protect your hardware.
Endura-12 is flexible, light weight, does not absorb water, and it floats. These factors help to make it easier to retrieve and secure the mooring, and easier to clear marine growth from pendant.
