Avet LX 6/3 series 2-speed reels provide the versatility of 2 reels in one with high speed line retrieve for jigging and casting, and a low gear that provides plenty of torque to turn the head of serious gamefish.
About the size of a standard 3/0 reel, the LX can tackle tuna up to 300lbs with the use of braided line and a monofilament topshot. Features a true one piece frame machined to minimal tolerances from aircraft grade aluminum. The tight tolerances, revolutionary AveDrag washer and a durable type II anodizing make the LX virtually maintenance free with the exception of a freshwater rinse after each use.
The LX-MC features Avet's unique cast control feature that allows you to customize the spool speed to your experience level, minimizing backlashes. The MC control can also be used as a line out adjustment for your bait when live lining.
