Taylor Made T-Top Boat Covers

Taylor Made 2-piece T-Top boat covers can be installed easily (without ladders) by one person. Using Taylor's Boatguard cover quality standards, these covers provide total protection for center console boats that have fixed position T-Tops.

The cover consists of two halves that zip together at the mid point of the console body. You zip and secure the cover over your console on one side and then zip secure the other side to complete the installation. The cover incorporates several adjustable snap lock straps.

During the initial installation, you adjust the top cover straps and tighten the rear sewn in console cover strap to custom fit your boat. Every time thereafter, simply zip together and it's ready to go. Fits boats up to 25'4" loa. Included Tie-Down system relieves stress on the zippered ends during over-the-road trailering.

Comments about Taylor Made T-Top Boat Covers:

A lot of boats are built with bow pulpits for anchors. Mine is one. This cover fits poorly over them. The installation instructions don't make clear how it's attached to the T-top or closed off over the console. Once figured it out it fits OK. They need a video of the install procedure. Need more of the ladder lock buckles that they supply. I've always just covered my previous boats with a tarp. First T-top so that doesn't work anymore. Seems well made though.

Comments about Taylor Made T-Top Boat Covers:

This is my second cover for my T-Top boat. The first one lasted about 4 years before it needed to be replaced. I like that I can put it on by myself. Now the bad, I had to send the cover back to Taylor Made when I found that the front halve of the cover was not the right size(too small). When I recieved the next one most of the tie down buckles were sew on backwards which means it doesn't tighten down or release correctly. As another reviewer has said quality control and/or the inspection process goofed again.

Comments about Taylor Made T-Top Boat Covers:

This cover is basically a good design. For my boat the center section that surrounds the console is made to large. Probably made for new boats with larger consoles. This creates excess material to deal with but is easier than not enough material. There is supposed to be two straps on each half to join the two halves but the back half was missing one and there is no way to add one except taking to a canvas shop for repairs or return to Taylor Made. Quality control goofed.

This cover appears to be well made. It doesn't fit the boat very well, but will probably be adequate.
