The Panther Fluid Extractor primes like a bicycle pump in less than 10 seconds and retains vacuum pressure. The vacuum draws out warm oil, antifreeze or other fluids easily. A see-through calibrated container offers a quick visual measure of the fluid level. Available in two sizes. Both feature rugged, non-kink, flexible metallic extractor tubes.

I bought this product to do an oil change on a 2005 Volvo Penta 8.1 Gi-F. I pre-heated the engine for about five minutes and went to work. This extractor did not extract anything but air. I pushed and pulled on the extractor tube to make sure it was down far enough and/or not down too far (up against wall of the oil pan). Also tried sealing the top of the dipstick tube. No luck. I went and bought another fluid extractor that better fit inside the dipstick tube, and came with a coupler that sealed at the top. The new one worked.
