2012-04-09PHIL ROOF: Yes, cheap insurance. I have 2 boats & buy 3 when shipping is free & the are on sale.
2012-04-10GENE VALESIO: Up here in the northeast i would recommend to change at least 2 time s during the boating season, my feeling is the humid weather we get and the E10 fuel and i also carrie an extra one on the boat.
2012-04-10MICHAEL HOCKS: I change these filters each season. My boat sets through the winter and fuel can break down and algae growth can form in tanks lines and filters. So to be on the safe side I change them every year and carry a spare set on board. I also use a Racor RK11-1676E Vacuum Gauge to let me know of the filter status while they are in use.

2012-02-04A shopper asked: hI, I have a Racor R24S filter / water separator.
It is leaking from some of the fittings and i am looking for the correct seal kit.
I believe the racor series 220 is the unit that uses the R24S.
Can someone let me know what is the right part number for the seal kit?
