Todd Water or Holding Tanks, are made from one piece molded durable polyethylene to comply with FDA regulation CFR 177.1520 and meet Coast Guard standards. Tank openings are molded to eliminate stress cracking and leaking.
Appropriate for use as either water or waste holding, these tanks all have (2) 1-1/2" openings, and (2) 1/2" openings. All openings are female NPT (National Pipe Thread Tapered) and are located in the same relative position on one end of the tank. Plugs are supplied to configure for water or holding tank use.
Todd Fitting Relocation Kits are available to plug up existing threaded fitting openings and to custom position new fitting openings anywhere on the tank. Sold separately. Hose kits are also available separately.

2012-05-29ALAN ROBBINS: For a direct overboard discharge head or a mascerator pump out you need a vented loop.
To a holding tank the head discharge runs directly into the tank.
2011-11-07A shopper asked: I'm looking for "water holding tank" to raise ground water temp to my basement temp before entering an on-demand hot water system. The city water is at 100 lbs pressure. I need a 3/4 inch nozzle in and out and somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 - 50 gallon. Do you have an item matching these specs? If not do you know where to look?

Measures like they tell you. Strong tank with plenty of fittings to make it work. Replaced a very old potobale water tank on a sail boat. fit's well on the V berth area.

The dimensions were an exact replacement for my existing holding tank. However, the Todd unit is much stronger than the previous plastic holding tank. The installation was tight, but much less difficult than removing the old tank because the Todd tank openings are flush. I had to cut off the old fittings to get the old tank out.

I like the Todd tanks for upgrading old boat water systems. Original fiberglass tanks are very difficult to clean and make ok for drinking water. The Todd tanks do not make stored water taste funny. Easy to work with these tanks.
