These were about the only copper or brass staples I could find for crafting purposes, but they are ideal. The insulator removes easily, and the legs are sharp and are easily tapped into wood.

Pro: The #5s are the perfect size for #6AWG bare copper, and #10 USE-2/RHW-2 insulated wire.
Cons: The legs could be a wee bit longer; maybe not. Just use more of them, especially in ground wire installs.
Installation: Do NOT expect to sink these with 1 or 2 strikes with a framing hammer. These aren't steel Romex staples.
They must be tapped in with a light hammer and on top of the 2 legs; not in the middle of the staple. That will do a perfect install.
