MetlWeld is a super tough two-part equal volume ratio epoxy adhesive, designed to bond metal and other dissimilar materials such as stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, copper, glass, ceramic neoprene rubber and most porous services.
It will cure at temperatures as low as 50°F, and cures easily at room temperature. MetlWeld is pre-thickened so no additional fillers or bulking agents are needed to make it a non-sagging adhesive. Allow 48 hours for full cure and complete strength.

2011-12-01JEREMY S asked: is metlweld ok to use on my dirtbike gas tank it metal. is meltweld hold up to gas?......Hope so just bought some

2011-12-30ALBERT ALMEIDA: Wow! I don't know about gas.
Get a small metal container that you can throw away after and add a puddle of Metl Weld on the bottom. Wait the 48 hours for it to cure then pour enough gas to cover the Metl Weld and see what happens. If you're not in a hurry, leave it in for week to see if it softens up.
It's a good product. I first tried it on 2 pcs of flat sheet metal for a test. After it was cured, I had to bang the hell out of it with a hammer and chisel to seperate them but it took awhile..........Good luck.
2011-09-02A shopper asked: I was thinking about getting this to repair a dent in an aluminum storm door. Would this work, and is it paintable?

2011-09-06STUART SEYMOUR: Meti Weld is very similar to JB Weld except a lot stronger. I think it would work OK. It is paintable.
