Replace all sacrificial zinc anodes on 1991-Present Mercruiser Alpha 1 Generation II stern drive units with this Marytr brand zinc kit. Anodes, often generically referred to as zincs, attract corrosion away from important metals on your vessel. There are specific zinc sets for use in freshwater (magnesium zincs) and for salt or brackish water (aluminum zincs).
Use aluminum anodes for salt and brackish water. Magnesium anodes are for freshwater use only, because they are a less noble metal, i.e. will corrode too fast in salt water.
Includes accompanying screws.
