The slime-fighting agent Irgarol used in Interlux Ultra w/Biolux and other bottom paints was recently discontinued. Manufacturers have responded by reformulating affected paints. As Irgarol-based Ultra bottom paint inventory is depleted, it is being replaced by the new formula, Ultra-Kote. Currently, Ultra w/Biolux (Irgarol) is available only in red. From a product performance standpoint, most paint companies are substituting additional copper or other copper-alternative slime and growth-fighting agents and you can expect similar performance.
