2012-11-12DALE FISH: Yes it is good, I have white carpets and have used in a Bistol carpet cleaning machine and have also used as a spot cleaner.
2012-11-12KEVIN BURKHART: I have not used the cleaner on my carpet, only the vinyl. It works great on vinyl.
2012-11-13CECELIA WHITE: I have used it in the past as a spot cleaner on my carpet, but you have to be sure to dilute or it will create spots. Its a great cleaner for boats and other surfaces as recommended on the label.

MARINE Spray Nine, is a surface contact cleaner that you spray on the surface area to be cleaned, allow it to penetrate the soiled area and then rinse. Some materials like the vinyl of an RV awning clean up best if the Spray Nine is applied, allowed to penetrate then scrubbed into the soiled areas and rinsed.
Using a heppa filter mask when using any cleaning agent is not a bad thing to do.
The Power washer would work well in the rinse portion of the process.
Keep in mind, any kind of cleaning agent can have an effect on air breathing mammals if it becomes airborne and a power washer would definitely create an airborne mist.

Spray Nine was recommended to me by a store salesperson in a Marine Store. He said he had used Spray Nine on his motorhome for years and his interior still looks new. I used Spray Nine on my Deck boat that has a white interior. A local detail company detail this boat about two years ago and really made a mess of my white interior turning areas into yellow spots. I used Spray Nine on the interior and it removed most all the damage that was done by a professional company and now my white interior looks new again. Thank you SPRAY NINE.

I found out about Spray Nine from a person who replaces boat vinyl. There are very few products safe to use on boat upholstery because you do not want to ruin the stitching. Clean vinyl is no good if the seat falls apart! If you go to the Spray Nine website it gives retailers where to buy. I wasted time unable to find it at any published local retailers. Easy to order through this website. Because I had a hard time finding more I tried another product as I was running out of my previous bottle of Spray Nine. It did not even compare. If you have not tried this it is worth the small investment. It will pay off in time saved.

Wonderful product that really cleans boat upholstery with modest elbow grease! I had just about given up on being able to get bird and pollen stains out of my vinyl pontoon upholstery but this stuff really did the trick. I tested it on two cushions and my husband noticed the difference immediately!

Bought this to clean off the mold and mildew from the vinyl boat seats after winter storage. Spray on, rub with sponge and hose off. Really does work. Also used it to clean the carpet in an aluminum fishing boat. Left carpet looking and smelling great. Go for the gallon refill, you will find all kinds of uses for this stuff.

Since I first read about Marine Spray 9 in Practical Sailor, a "consumers report" for boaters, I have used it to clean the most stubborn stains on my sailboat cockpit and deck, especially, those created by the droppings of birds and insects.
