Available in liquid and thickened formulations, liquid G Flex 650 is a two part (resin and hardener) mixed at a 1:1 ratio. G/flex 655 is also a two part epoxy adhesive, but contains a thickening agent.

Note: 8 Ounce G Flex 650 kits are available in 2 formats: as 4 ounce resin and 4 ounce hardener kits (650-8), or with accessories that include 2 mixing sticks, 2 syringes, 4 mixing cups, 406 Colloidal Silica, 1 pair gloves and 4 alcohol pads (part number 650-K).

I purchased the G/flex Liquid Epoxy kit to repair a broken kayak paddle blade. It had broken giving me a clean 90 degree angle to work with or I probably would have scrapped it. I'm not much of a prep person, just sanded and filed to give me a groove between the broken pieces. It worked great. So good, I decided to patch a hole on the bottom of a poly kayak. It started as a wear hole, but when I attempted to heat repair it, I created a large hole, probably 2" by 4". I then decided to use the G/flex. I sanded but didn't heat treat. I taped plastic wrap on the inside of the kayak and coated the outside generously. Then, I removed the plastic wrap and did the same on the inside 'sandwiching' the hole. I have floated a creek all summer, scraping and banging rocks, and this stuff has held up incredibly! I also did a repair on a cracked plastic radiator tank and it held as well!

I used your epoxy with carbon fiber tow to repair high end composite hockey sticks. It successfully repaired blade damage, and broken shafts that have been holding up well!!!

Used G-Flex to glue together large pieces of a teak helm seat with dowels. Thicker than regular West System epoxy but plenty of work time. Use acetone to clean wood before gluing. Dries clear. Dried excess sanded off without much problem. Glue lines between pieces are barely discernible and only on close inspection.

Comments about WEST System G/flex Liquid Epoxy Kits:

I used G-Flex to glue together the ends of a royalex canoe that had been torn in half. I started with a 15' Bell Yellowstone that had a near complete tear amidship. I cut 5' out of the center of the boat and used G-Flex to glue the ends back together. I have not yet taken the boat through any whitewater, but I have floated it in a nearby beaver pond. The seam is strong, waterproof, and seems to retain the flex I want to have in a whitewater canoe.

I used the Product to Epoxy a metal fastener to the back of a Antique hood ornament because the old one had deteriorated. Stainless Steel to Staimless Steel. There is no way possible to use any thing else without damaging the hood ornament. This stuff is Strong, after it dried, you would have to use a Dremel tool to remove the fastener I epoxied. Great stuff.
