This Deluxe 14 Inch Bandsaw from Rinkon has a more powerful 1.5 hp motor and 13 inch re-saw capability. Dual speed control and easy blade changes make for clean precision cuts of varying materials.
Sawblade tracking and tension windows add safety when aligning saw blade. Hinged blade guard and front load blade change are designed to make blade changes simple, easy and safe. Quick release blade tension operates on the horizontal. The oversized table supports heavy work while 4 inch dust ports keep the cutting area clean.
The stand includes hinged doors for easy access, tool holder and a cabinet for blade and jig storage. It also includes a light above the work area and heavy-duty fence with re-saw bar.

2012-07-12Ryan L: We only charge sales tax to customers within Rhode Island. This must ship common carrier so freight is usually $120-150.
I bought this after fighting another brand of saw for a couple years. I did learn how to set-up and tune so it wasn't all wasted time. This bandsaw with a great blade is like buttah! The stock blade sucks, toss it and buy one of the top rated ones. I would recommend this saw to all beginners as it is well made and forgiving. My advice: Buy the best saw you can possibly afford. Skip the junk and go straight to safe and beautiful cuts. There are others of course but this saw will do the job.

Other than being a bit under-powered for resawing hardwoods, this band saw is great. No problems with blade tension release. I have used it for over a year and it stays aligned perfectly. It cuts smoothly without vibration. Lots of cutting capacity for the price too.

Fit and finish was below what I expected. Worst part is the quick release tensioning. After releasing tension 1 day and re-tensioning the next, the upper wheel does not go back to the same exact place which means the guides must be re set each time you re- tension the blade a total waste of time . Very Upset
