The 6" Cristal abrasive discs now feature the next generation Multi-Jetstream design that incorporates a modified 17-hole pattern that increases airflow, and results in even better dust extraction efficiency. These new pads incorporate an enhanced, heat-resistant StickFix design, extending both pad and abrasive life considerably.
The new Multi-Jetstream design is 100% compatible with the previous pad design, and vice-versa. Festool Cristal abrasives employ durable aluminum oxide grit, a flexible bonding material and a no-load coating which makes it the top performer for rapid material removal. Stays cool, won't clog and makes quick work of tough jobs. Cristal abrasives are ideal for wood, paint, plastics and fillers.
Use Cristal P40 to P60 for rapid removal, ideal for rough shaping. Make short work of leveling large surfaces. Switch to Rubin for finish sanding.
Use Cristal P80 to P120 when a softer touch is required. Great transitional grits for aggressive material removal and quick transition through grits. Finish off with Rubin for fine sanding.
Use Cristal P40 to P60 to strip old finishes. Excellent for exterior paint problems like cracking and alligator skin. Strip flooring, automotive paint and boat hulls. Ideal for rapid removal without clogging.
Use Cristal P80 to P120 to prep for finish sanding. Good for stripping without surface problems. Finish with Brilliant 2 on coatings or Rubin for bare wood.
