Cruiser compasses feature no-spin global balance cards that are calibrated in 5 degree intervals with an extended lubber line for easy front reading.

            After 1 year of light use, the card leans to one side. (It has a permanent list when the boat is level). Intermittently sticks on incorrect heading. This is a front reading compass, but the night light cannot be positioned to adequately illuminate the front of the compass and lubber line.
