These are basic snaps, similar to other manufacturers. 2 out of 4 did not close all the way due to mismatch where moving snap stops on the distal end of the hook. Some filling was required, but difficult due to hardened metal. I would not rely on this for any safety item, even low stress. Simple holding is adequate.
